Designed for installing 8" speakers in Hidden Spline Tile Ceilings (12"x 12"). In new construction as well as existing ceilings this is one of the most difficult installations for an 8" speaker assembly. By using the HSTS, you can cut the holes, run the wire, install the back cans and install the speaker assemblies without getting above the ceiling. Everything can be done from the bottom side through the speaker holes. Made of non-corrosive steel for strength and durability. Includes: Trusshead/slot toggle bolts, 1/8" x 3" (6-32). White head unless specified CAD plate. The HSTS Tile Support will fit any speaker baffle with mounting holes spaced 7 15/16" apart as shown. Can also be used in sheetrock ceilings.
